Liability Waiver
Limited Liability Waiver & Release of Liability I understand that my child is voluntarily participating in a stand-alone sewing class offered through Ironwood Academy and instructed by Vanora Studio. I acknowledge that all classes are held off-site at Vanora Studio's Everything Fiber Learning Center, not on the Ironwood Academy campus. I understand that participation in sewing classes involves the use of sewing machines, irons, scissors, rotary cutters, needles, pins, and other tools that carry inherent risks of injury. While every reasonable precaution will be taken to provide a safe learning environment, accidents may occur. By signing below, I acknowledge and agree that: My child is participating voluntarily. I assume all risks associated with participation in this class. I release, waive, and hold harmless Ironwood Academy, its board members, officers, employees, volunteers, and representatives, as well as Vanora Studio, Everything Fiber Learning Center, its owners, instructors, employees, and volunteers, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liability, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from or related to my child's participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law. I certify that my child is physically able to participate in the class and that I have disclosed any medical conditions or allergies that may require special attention. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize class staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred. I agree that Ironwood Academy and Vanora Studio are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. I understand that students are expected to follow all safety instructions and classroom rules. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the class without a refund. By signing electronically below, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the student and that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Limited Liability Waiver and Release.
