Creative Stitches
Ages 8-12
Wednesdays | 1:00–2:30 PM
Perfect for beginners! Students will learn sewing machine safety, basic techniques, reading simple patterns, and create fun projects while building confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills.
Students will:
- Learn to safely use a sewing machine
- Build foundational sewing skills
- Complete exciting take-home projects
- Grow confidence and creativity
- Make new friends in a welcoming studio

Fashion Lab
Ages (13+)
Wednesdays | 2:45–4:45 PM
Designed for students who already know their way around a sewing machine, Fashion Lab takes creativity to the next level. Students will design and construct their own original garment from sketch to final stitch to showcase in the Spring 2027 Vanora Studio Runway Show at the beautiful Oaklea Mansion.
Students will:
- Design their own garment
- Learn garment construction techniques
- Build advanced sewing skills
- Explore fashion design and creative expression
- Showcase their finished piece on

-Access to fabrics, notions, drafting materials, and studio equipment during Program
